Mireille's Journey To Health

REAL, FRUGAL, HEALTHY, and FUN!!!

About Me

 Thank You, Mom!

I want to thank my mom for encouraging me to start this blog and for being so incredibly supportive every step of the way!

A Little About Me

I struggled with body image issues for many, many years.  My life has been changed for the better through the discovery of proper healthy living.  No more crash or starvation diets.  No more death by cardio-overload.  I’ve discovered how much better I look and feel when I nourish my body, train it to be strong, and maintain a positive, healthy outlook on life.  My life is so much better now.  It’s so good, I want to share it with the world so I can help others who are struggling.  I find stress-relief in creating clean recipes (most of which are paleo, gluten-free, and dairy-free).  I’m also super frugal, and find ways to keep my health and fitness cheap, fun and effective.

Let's workout!

Well, I started on Valentine’s Day. Nothing significant about that, but it helps me remember the exact date, lol. I’d considered joining one of the work from home/health coaching jobs. I just didn’t want to be marketing a product line for a company. Also, I didn’t want to join a company that anyone, with no educational background could join. Also, some of the people who need the help the most, can’t afford to buy into those programs. I talked to my mom about it, and she convinced me to start a blog. I really didn’t have a clue what I was doing. I didn’t really know where exactly I was going to go with it. I’m honestly still figuring it all out. This is actually my first time taking blogging 101. The assignments are always the same, but I still get more out of it every time. It’s been so helpful!

It is nice to visit a blog that helps with reminding me about taking care of myself. You are correct in saying that the journey is so much easier when you have people there with you. Glad I visited. The information within your various posts is surly one that I can use.

Thank you so much for the nomination! I accepted a blogging award in the early stages of my blog, but I’ve always felt the post was out of place on my blog due to its focus on healthy living. I did enjoy reading your replies to the questions you were given, though. I definitely recommend skydiving. I was given the opportunity to do it once, and the feeling is absolutely incredible! If I ever start a more open-themed blog, with less of a focused subject, I think it’d be more fun to participate in the blogging awards.

Great! You do what’s best, that’s what makes your website unique or very YOU. Yes, I can’t wait to try skydiving… the free falling and the rush… and a new blog post!

It is a rush! Such a neat feeling. I’ve always wanted to do it again. It’s funny. My husband was part of the army’s airborne division for 3 years. He had to jump many times, and never enjoyed it all that much. I think it’s funny because here I’ve only jumped the one time and would love to go again.

    Good afternoon,

I sent you a couple of emails in the last week or so without hearing back from you. Did you ever get a chance to review my initial email?

    Kind regards,
    Shaun
