Paleo 4-Ingredient All-Fruit Granola Cereal

I suppose this recipe is a little wild and rebellious, as it does not fit the parameters of my 21 day sugar detox.  I’m ok with it.  It’s my splurge, and I’m not a huge fan of restricting fruit.  Not super excessively, anyhow.  Plus, tomorrow, I have my kickboxing with Go For It Kickboxing.  I like to be able to push myself with my workouts and cutting out fruit has always made that harder.  I’m pretty active.  The sugar habits that I’m more concerned with are the maple syrup, molasses, and honey that seem to creep into quite a bit of my meals and snacks.  I’m still going to be cutting back on my sugar the remainder of these 21 days, and hopefully I’ll build some good lasting habits.  Still, I don’t feel bad about these fruity splurge.  In fact, the bananas used in this recipe were quite green, as that is recommended for a sugar detox.  Also, the coconut is approved.  I’m breaking the rules with the peach and the craisins… but I’m ok with it, and if you try it, you’ll be hooked and A-OK with it, too!


2 bananas

1 peach

1-1/4 cups unsweetened, shredded coconut

2 Tbsp craisins

Directions: Preheat oven to 300′ and line cookie sheet with parchment paper.  Puree bananas and peach.  Add in coconut and craisins.  Mix will.  Pour batter onto parchment paper and spread.  Place cookie sheet in the oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes.  Enjoy warm, fresh from the oven, or allow it to crisp a bit more as it cools.  Either way, enjoy!
