REAL, FRUGAL, HEALTHY, and FUN!!!
Training your back increases fat-burning. The increase in back strength can improve your ability to work every other part of your body. The increased strength helps with day to day activities and can prevent injuries when lifting and moving heavy things. Form is critical, however, or you can actually injure your back during your workout. If your back does get sore from working out, I recommend doing some yoga. Working your biceps, is great for day to day strength and looks great when showing a little more skin. You don’t have to work them together, but because you hit your biceps when working your back, I like to add a little bicep-specific exercises, and just finish them off.
This workout consists of classic, old-school exercises.
We’re doing 3 sets of 12 on everything:
Bent-Over Reverse Flies
Be very conscious of your form. You can lift light or heavy for this workout. If your goal is just to tone, you might want to lift a little lighter. If your goal is to build a little muscle and increase your strength, try lifting a little heavier. Don’t sacrifice form for a heavy weight, though. You can always build up to it.
